It is always a special treat to visit the illustrious Czech sculptor Olbram Zoubek at his studio. We walk through the forecourt amongst a crowd of statues. It seems they are waiting to greet us.
Zoubek has donated some beautiful statues over the years to contribute to the success of the Charity Gala. This year he has given us a serene statue of his muse Mrs Maticka, a painter from Litomysl. For us, he is our muse.
There is a Zoubek exhibition at Prague castle that starts tomorrow and runs until 2nd March 2014.
