The famous Prague glassware company Blue Praha has been donating prizes to the Charity Gala for as long as we can remember and we’re extremely grateful for their long-term support.

Diakonie has been been providing social, pedagogical and therapeutic services to children, adolescents and adults with combined disabilities since 1994. The charity provides support not only to people with disabilities but also to their families.

Members of the committee visited Beroun Children’s Home recently to catch up with the extra curricula activities sponsored by participants of the Charity Gala. While we were there we had the privilege of meeting Duffy the Dog.
Duffy is trained to work with complex needs children and during our visit we were lucky enough to get the chance to join the children in a grooming session. Laughter filled the room and a therapeutic time was had by both children and adults alike!
