Escape to a designer hotel on the golden sandy beaches of Bentota in Sri Lanka.

Bentota is located along the island’s golden mile of beaches on the west coast, it boasts pristine beaches and azure blue seas.

The hotel evokes the grandeur of an 18th century Dutch village, designed by Sri Lanka’s world-famous architect, Geoffrey Bawa.

ARTĚL has donated a Sequence Barware Decanter and a set of six Sequence Double Old Fashioned Glasses to the 2015 Charity Gala.

Designed exclusively for ARTEL by Natalia Ogneva, a rising star in the Czech design world, Sequence was inspired by Josef Hoffman of the Wiener Werkstatte (a German design movement of the early 20th century).

Its intersecting lines produce a striking pattern that makes a bold, modern statement. This motif is extremely labor-intensive, as the black lines traversing the surface of each object are painstakingly hand-painted by our Czech master artisans, with each glass taking more than a full day to produce.

We are excited to have Alexandr Onishenko’s artwork in our auction again this year. He has donated three high quality digital prints on canvas.

As a passionate fisherman whenever Mr Onishenko walks in Prague he always heads to the embankment of the Vltava. The river always suggests beautiful and breathtaking themes for his paintings.

Melnik-Chloumek

This painting is a view from Onishenko’s atelier which is situated on the top of the hill in Melnik-Chloumek, near Prague. He paints the poppy fields on a sunny, spring day.

Oni Melnik

Onishenko applies by hand a coating to the prints to give the reproductions the look and feel of the originals. He is photographed below signing the canvases for the Charity Gala.

Anna Mogilnicka is a talented black and white photographer who lives in Prague.

Anna specialises in family photography and street photography. She has taken many beautiful photographs of Prague and has kindly donated one of her black and white photographs of Charles Bridge to our 2015 Charity Gala.

Le Corsaire, English National Ballet, London

The English National Ballet has generously donated four tickets to Le Corsaire at the London Coliseum.
