Chloe Geitmann Akrithaki is a Greek visual artist based in Prague. Born in Berlin, she left Germany early on and went to school in Athens. Upon graduation she moved back to Berlin where she studied graphic design and photography. Since then she has worked mainly as freelance photographer.
Chloe has donated a photograph of Malostranské náměstí to our 2015 Charity Gala.

HALADA has very kindly donated a pair of Cosmos earrings to the 2015 Charity Gala.
The Cosmos earrings complement the Cosmos ring that we auctioned at last year’s gala.
Eric Halada explains the thinking behind the design: “The earrings are composed of individual little planets, together creating a refreshingly and effective whole. Each planet represents one experience, a loved one or a successful moment in life.”.
Each Cosmos piece comes in 18 carat gold and can be enhanced with diamonds or colourful precious stones to symbolize unforgettable moments of your life.

From time to time we support guest charities. These charities are often introduced to us by people within our community, they tend to be local, under-resourced and involved in causes that are close to our heart. This year we will be supporting two guest charities.
Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Heart
Emanuela and her sisters work for a charity called the Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Heart. They have been living in Prague for more than 15 years and help families with little or no income, homeless people and handicapped children. As is often the case, Emanuela and her sister nuns are only able to help other people if someone gives them some financial support, as such they have to rely on the good hearts of the people that they meet.
Childhood Diabetes department in Motol
The Childhood Diabetes department in Motol are looking to fund educational literature to help children and parents cope with the lifelong impact childhood diabetes can have. They also run a series of camps to support the children and can offer extra counselling with the funds that we raise. Some of the children need continual insulin monitoring and as always government funding is stretched and it is those in most need that we are looking to help.

We are excited to have Alexandr Onishenko’s artwork in our auction again this year. He has donated three high quality digital prints on canvas.
Sunny Day in a Garden
The first painting features a Czech garden filled with sun and light, it also captures the freshness brought by the shadows of the trees.
Three Boats on Vltava
As a passionate fisherman whenever Mr Onishenko walks in Prague he always heads to the embankment of the Vltava. The river always suggests beautiful and breathtaking themes for his paintings.
Melnik-Chloumek
This painting is a view from Onishenko’s atelier which is situated on the top of the hill in Melnik-Chloumek, near Prague. He paints the poppy fields on a sunny, spring day.
Onishenko applies by hand a coating to the prints to give the reproductions the look and feel of the originals. He is photographed below signing the canvases for the Charity Gala.

Anna Mogilnicka is a talented black and white photographer who lives in Prague.
Anna specialises in family photography and street photography. She has taken many beautiful photographs of Prague and has kindly donated one of her black and white photographs of Charles Bridge to our 2015 Charity Gala.
The photograph is printed on canvas, artist size (60×40) and is signed on the back.
