Introducing our guest of honour….Hot Toddy. We’re all rather smitten with him.

The live auction cuddly toys have raised significant amounts of money in the past.

It says a lot about the spirit of the evening when our guests give for the sake of it and often send the toy back to be re-auctioned for an even higher amount.

Some giant cuddly toys have made perfect presents for small children and others now live in the charity homes that we support.

Hot Toddy will be auctioned with a diamond set by the talented Hany Koi.

England will face the mighty All Blacks at Twickenham Stadium on Saturday 10th November during the Old Mutual Wealth Series and we have two tickets ready to give to the highest bidder!

Win a day on the set of Carnival Row as an extra courtesy of Stillking Films. 

Carnival Row is a fantasy noir that stars Cara Delevingne and Orlando Bloom. Mythological creatures fleeing their war-torn homeland have gathered in the city and tensions are simmering between citizens and the growing immigrant population. The investigation of a string of unsolved murders begins to eat away at whatever peace still exists.

Shooting days are from 8th January to 2nd March 2018.

This is one of the experiential gems that’ll be available in our Silent Auction on Saturday.

The English National Ballet has kindly donated tickets to see the premier of Kenneth MacMillan’s production of the fairy tale classic Sleeping Beauty.

Your voucher entitles you to a box for four people and it can be used for the premier or for another performance to give you the flexibility to plan your trip at a time that suits you best. If you are able to attend the premier you’ll be invited to the opening night drinks reception.

Sleeping Beauty will run at the London Coliseum from 6 to 16 June 2018.

You’ll stay in luxury at the Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane where we have secured a double room for two nights.

Dear friends

The preparations for this year’s event, Cocktail, are well underway and we now need to appeal to you for prize donations to ensure its success.

Since our first event in 1999 we have raised over 33 million Czech Krowns for local charities. We’re incredibly proud of what we have achieved and are passionate about continuing to make a positive difference to the causes that we believe in.

Last year, we raised 3.6 million Czech Krowns for the following local charities:

• Department of Pediatric Hematology Oncology, University Hospital Motol: Funds raised contributed to the purchase of a Flow Cytometer which analyses the patient’s blood at the DNA level thus enabling scientists to precisely see which cell is affected and tailor treatment accordingly.
• Diakonie Center: Diakonie supports people with mental, physical and multiple disabilities and their families. Our money was used to complete the garden renovation and buy tailor-made equipment.
• Beroun Children’s Home: Beroun is a residential home for complex needs children. Our contributions funded horse-riding lessons, swimming lessons, pet therapy, music therapy and trips to the salt caves.
• Skiing for the disabled: Charity Gala donations were used to train a mono-ski instructor.
• Pink Crocodile School Prague: Pink Crocodile helps children with complex needs. Last year we specifically sponsored physiotherapy programs.
• Dedina Center: Dedina offers a support system for adults with impaired vision. Our money was used to support a program aimed at fostering greater independence.
• Broken Silence Foundation: Broken Silence supports deaf children after their cochlear implant surgery. Money raised was invested in surgical equipment for Motol ORL and support for families of newly diagnosed children.

Many of these projects are ongoing and need our continued support.

This year, we will also be supporting the Department of Projects, Grants and Clinical trials at Kralovske Vinohrady. Money raised will be used to purchase specialist equipment for neonatal care.
